Hints of a Bad Attitude towards Men

I have often heard my girlfriends make derogatory or assumptive remarks about men. I also shared the same outlook that they had. So many times I have found myself in conversations about the plus size of the intimate apparel, girth and performance anxiety. Often I have made comments, along with my girlfriends, like: ‘men are all the same’, ‘men are such bastards’, men are only after one thing’, and even ‘men are useful for only one thing.’ Would you not call this chauvinism?

What we don’t realise, is that, it is because of this chauvinism between men and women, that there is so much angst and separation amongst the sexes. I feel that a simple attitude adjustment, can create an alchemy of mindworks and assist with the development of healthy relationships between men and women.

Just to clarify – Chauvinism is an over-identification with either the masculine or feminine energy.

The masculine energy is the energy of taking action. By taking action you are giving permission to the feminine. The feminine energy is the energy of possibilities. When the masculine gives permission to the feminine, then the feminine makes it possible for the masculine to tap into infinite possibilities. If you are over identified, with either the one or the other of the energies, the natural balance of magic and power is inhibited.
