Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior

By Dan Millman

‘Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior’ is the second contribution from Dan Millman, to those wanting to become a peaceful warrior. A few years after his training with Socrates; Dan finds himself being confronted with personal failures and growing frustrations. The restlessness has returned; the chimes of freedom are sounding again. Feeling disillusioned with his life, Dan sets out on an adventure quest to rediscover his life purpose and divine inspiration.

A Soul Woman on the Islands of Adventure

Dan goes to Hawaii to search for a woman shaman guide, he was told of, by Socrates. Once he finds this soul woman she takes him through various lessons that assist him in the next step on his journey to simple freedom. In these lessons, Dan is faced with challenging inner tests and encounters worlds of colour, shadow and light. This is the sacred intimate journey to the light that shines at the heart of our lives.

Accessing Divine Wisdom

Here Dan demonstrates that there is a huge difference between knowing and doing on the pathways to freedom. Although Dan receives much knowledge and learning from Socrates, at some point he forgot and needed to go on the next journey to remember. Accessing Divine Wisdom requires doing and being as well as knowing. It is said that your destiny is not the destination, it is the path and the intimate attitudes you carry on the path that is your destiny.

For the Tropic of Freedom Finders Keepers:
"There is no path to Happiness. Happiness is the path. There is no path to Love. Love is the path. There is no path to Peace. Peace is the path."

What path have you chosen? What are you doing and being continuously to remain true on the path you have chosen?
