‘The Bible Code 2: The Countdown’ is Michael Drosnin’s second contribution on the code behind the meaning of it all. The bible code is also known as the Torah code. It is written that a series of word search messages exist within the bible. These messages, once decoded, form words and phrases demonstrating foreknowledge and prophecy. The study and results of this code were originally popularized by the book The Bible Code.

Alternative Power hidden

In The Bible Code, Michael suggests that the code was written by alien technology. He also claims that they were involved in the DNA activation of the human genetic code. Drosnin elaborates on this theory in The Bible Code: The Countdown, suggesting that the alien technology who brought the code, left the key to the code in a steel obelisk.

Text Mining

The traditional view of the word search codes is based strictly on their applicability to the Torah. It asserts that any attempt to study the codes outside of this context is invalid. This is based on a belief that the Torah is unique among biblical texts in that it was given directly to mankind in exact letter-by-letter sequence and in the original Hebrew arabic language.

There has been much debate and controversy around the nature of the bible code and what it means for mankind.

On one hand this code suggests that everything is pre-ordained. If the bible code has messages of historical events already hidden within the pages, then how do you know everything you do is not part of some bigger plan?

On the other hand, why is the bible code revealed to us if there is nothing that can be done to change it? Reality is a matter of perspective. What world are you going to choose to live in?
